On June 7, 2026, Wings Over America brought together scholars, donors, board members, and supporters at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club in Virginia Beach to celebrate this year’s scholarship recipients and the community that makes their education possible.

The reception featured remarks from Executive Director Andrea Diamond, a guest speaker, donor recognition, scholar recognition, and closing remarks, highlighting the impact of WOASF’s mission and the generosity of our supporters.

This year’s scholarship recipients represent students from across the country and around the world, each pursuing their own educational goals while carrying forward a connection to the Navy aviation community.

The reception was also an opportunity to recognize the donors, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters whose generosity continues to invest in the next generation of Navy aviation students. Their commitment makes these scholarships possible and strengthens the WOASF mission.

Special thanks to Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, for sponsoring this year’s event and for their continued support of Navy aviation families and the next generation of scholars.

Our scholars shared heartfelt stories about what this scholarship means to them, the sacrifices of their military families, and how it helps them pursue their educational and career goals. Their words remind us of the lasting impact this support has on their lives and the future of the Navy aviation community.
