Scholarships For Dependents of US Navy Aviation
Since 1987, Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation has empowered students from Navy aviation families through educational scholarships.
01
Recognizing the sacrifices made by
Navy aviation families.
02
Connecting generations through shared
purpose and support.
03
Helping students pursue what comes
next through education.
In 1987, the AIRLANT Wives Club recognized a critical need for scholarships within the Navy aviation community. Through grassroots fundraising—including bake sales and fashion shows—they awarded the first scholarships and laid the foundation for a lasting legacy.
That same spirit of service and community continues to shape WOASF today.
To empower students from Navy aviation families through educational scholarships.
That mission is carried forward by families, volunteers, donors, partners, Board members, and staff who continue to show up for the Navy aviation community.
Thanks to our donors and partners, WOASF continues to make a measurable difference in the lives of Navy aviation families.
WOASF is guided by dedicated leaders whose service, experience, and commitment help carry the Foundation’s mission forward. Hear from our Chairman and Executive Director, then meet the Board, advisors, and staff serving Navy aviation families.
WOASF’s story has always been one of people coming together for Navy aviation families.
From the volunteers who raised the first scholarship dollars to today’s Board, staff, donors, partners, and supporters, that spirit of family and camaraderie continues.
A scholarship may support one student. The community behind it reaches much further.
WOASF scholars continue their education at institutions across the country, pursuing academic and career paths that carry opportunity forward into the next generation.
From grassroots fundraising in 1987 to scholarships supporting Navy aviation families today, this community continues to invest in what comes next.
