Biography

Navy League of the United States, Hampton Roads is a nonprofit civilian organization dedicated to strengthening the connection between the Sea Services and the Hampton Roads community. It supports the men and women of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine, along with their families.

Navy League Hampton Roads advances three core missions: educating the public and elected officials about the importance of the Sea Services to our nation’s defense and economic well-being; enhancing the morale of active-duty personnel and their families; and investing in youth through programs that introduce young people to the values, leadership and traditions of the Sea Services.

Through education, advocacy and community engagement, Navy League Hampton Roads brings together military, business, government and community leaders. These efforts strengthen connections across the region and foster a greater understanding of the essential role America’s maritime services play in our nation’s security and economic prosperity.
